We price every tattoo by project, not by the hour. The ranges below give you an idea before you get in touch. Your final quote depends on size, detail and placement, and we always confirm it with you before booking.
What a tattoo costs
Small piece
from CHF 120
Minimum price for a small tattoo.
Palm size
CHF 300-500
A piece about the size of your palm.
Half day
CHF 600-900
Larger pieces in one half-day session.
Full day
CHF 1,200-1,500
Big projects, sleeves and back pieces, one full-day session.
All prices in Swiss francs (CHF). They are guide prices per project, not hourly rates.
Deposit & cancellation
Half-day and full-day sessions are secured with a CHF 200 deposit. Smaller pieces need no deposit.
Need to cancel or move your appointment? Let us know at least one week before. With shorter notice the deposit is not refunded.

How much does a tattoo cost at Monster Ink Studio?
Small pieces start at CHF 120, a palm-size tattoo costs CHF 300-500, a half-day session CHF 600-900 and a full day CHF 1,200-1,500. Every piece is quoted per project.
Do you charge by the hour?
No. We price by project: you get a quote for your piece based on size, detail and placement, confirmed before you book.
Do I need to pay a deposit?
Only for half-day and full-day sessions: a CHF 200 deposit secures your date. Smaller pieces need no deposit.
What if I need to cancel or reschedule?
Tell us at least one week before your appointment. With shorter notice the deposit is not refunded.
Can I walk in without an appointment?
Yes, walk-ins are welcome during opening hours: Mon, Tue, Thu, Fri 12:30-19:00 and Sat 12:30-17:30 (closed Wednesday and Sunday). Walk-ins are for small pieces and flash, depending on the day's schedule; for larger pieces please book ahead.
How do I book a tattoo?
Send a request through the booking form on our website: choose your artist, describe your idea and add reference and placement photos. We reply with availability and a quote. You can also message us on WhatsApp at +41 78 253 59 05 (messages only).
Where is the studio?
Monster Ink Studio is at Mattengasse 29, 8005 Zürich, in Kreis 5.
